Group play + 10-Point System:

Each team will be in a group of 3 teams and will play 2 matches. 1 match will be a home game, the other away. The games will be on a 10 point system as follows:

• Win = 6 points
• Tie = 4 points
• Goals = 1 point (max 3 points in a game)
• Shutout = 1 poin
  • A team can get 10 points by winning 3-0 - 6 for the win, 3 for each goal, 1 for the shutout = 10 points
  • A team that loses can still get up to 3 points. If you lose 3-4 you still get 3 points for each goal scored
  • It is more important to win by 3-0 than 10-1. You get 10 points for the shutout 3 goal game and only 9 points for a 10-1 win because you do not get the shutout point.
  • This system is being used to better determine group winner on a points basis.
  • If it is all tied a coin toss will have to be the determining factor on who goes forward.
• Group winner will play in the championship vs the NISA Pro team in their group. That game would go to completion and overtime + PK’s if necessary to determine a winner by FIFA standards.

*3 Regions will play two-leg tie: Mid-Atlantic, Midwest & Pacific.
