Delgado's Late Goal Lifts LA Force over Capo FC in a Thrilling Match

Jun 1, 2026

(5/30/2026) The Los Angeles Force edged Capo FC 3-2 at St. Anthony High School Stadium Saturday in Long Beach, CA. Abdul Mansaray scored the opener for Capo FC in the 43rd minute, but a minute later, the Force equalized through Chila to level the match before halftime. In the second half, Mansaray struck again, scoring his second goal of the match and 13th of the season to put Capo FC ahead 2-1. Despite trailing twice, the Force overturned the deficit with goals from Kian Aminloo and a stoppage-time winner by Oscar Delgado to seal the win and move one step closer to clinching the Southwest Region title. This is the second time the Force has defeated Capo FC in the 2026 NISA Spring Showcase, following their 3-1 victory over their 405 Derby rivals on April 11 at JSerra Catholic High School Stadium. LA Force leads the Southwest Region table with 24 points, Sin City FC is second with 21 points, and Capo FC is third with 12 points. Problems FC is fourth with 9 points, Royal Society FC is fifth with 7 points, and Inland Empire FC is sixth with 4 points.

The LA Force can seal the Southwest Region title with a win or draw this weekend in their week 11 matchup against Inland Empire FC on Saturday at St. Anthony High School Stadium. A loss would open the door for Sin City FC to take the title with a win against Capo FC on Saturday at Mater Academy East High School Stadium. On Sunday, Problems FC will host Royal Society FC at Long Beach City College. The final match next weekend, concluding week 12 and the 2026 NISA Spring Showcase, will be Royal Society FC vs. Capo FC on Sunday, June 14, at Vista Hermosa Sports Park.
