CAREER BIO:
During high school, Miguel played with the Chivas USA Academy in Carson, California.
He then moved on to play in Mexico where he signed with Jaguares de Chiapas (1st Division – Liga MX) from 2007-2010. He then signed with Cruz Azul Hidalgo (Liga MX) for the 2010-11 season.
Following his career in Mexico, Miguel came back to California and signed to play indoor soccer with the Anaheim Bolts from 2011-2014 (PASL) & Ontario Fury for the 2014-15 season (MASL) prior to joining the LA Wolves in the UPSL.
Sanchez-Rincon’s most memorable goal came in a California United Strikers FC uniform when he converted a PK in a friendly vs. the US Men’s National Team during their January camp in Chula Vista, California.
PERSONAL:
Born in Mexico, Miguel moved to southern California at age nine.
He played youth soccer with So Cal United where his team won multiple tournaments during his tenure.
In an effort to set himself up for a career following his playing days, Miguel owns a bartending service company as well a wholesale auto dealership. He also enjoys coaching soccer.
Miguel is married to Olivia (4 years) and they have two pure bred Boxers named Centurio & Serbia.
His all-time favorite player is: Ronaldinho
